Thilo Becker
Patent Advisor
Thilo joined Håmsø Patentbyrå as a Patent Advisor in 2025.
He holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Masters Degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. While working at RWTH Aachen University, he successfully launched a venture in additive manufacturing to industrially exploit technologies developed during the work on his doctoral dissertation. Before joining Håmsø, Thilo also worked in two corporate ventures in Germany and Norway in the fields of photovoltaics and textile recycling, defining innovation and IP strategies and building new business models.
Thilo has experience working with a variety of industries and technologies, including the building industry, textile industry, waste and recycling industry, manufacturing technologies, and material science.
Working languages are English and German.
