Astri Fjelde Maaland
Patent Attorney | European Patent Attorney
Astri holds an M.Sc. in Nanotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). After completing her studies, she joined Nordic Nanovector ASA, where she worked on the preclinical development of radioimmunotherapy for cancer treatment. She completed her Ph.D. in this field at the University of Oslo in 2020.
Since 2021, Astri has worked as a Patent Advisor at Håmsø Patentbyrå. In 2026, she qualified as a European Patent Attorney, enabling her to represent clients before the European Patent Office (EPO).
At Håmsø Patentbyrå, Astri advises clients on patent protection and guides them through all stages of the patenting process. She has experience across a range of technical fields, including consumer products, mechanical engineering, aquaculture, and biotechnology.
Astri's working languages are Norwegian and English. She is also proficient in French and has a basic knowledge of German.
