Most industrialized countries are parties to the PCT, but not all. Below you will find a list of some of the countries, in which a patent is often applied for, but which are not parties to the PCT. If a patent is to be applied for in several of these countries, applications must be filed in the separate countries at the same time as the PCT application is filed. Please note that the following list does not include all countries outside the PCT.
