It is possible to apply for a 2 (two)-months extension of the time limit for replying to an official action from the Norwegian Patent Office. In the processing period of a case no more than 2 extensions of the time limit are allowed. Extension is granted automatically on request to the Patent Office. The request for an extension must be made before the time limit expires.
