Rosie Carrie

Rosie joined Håmsø Patentbyrå in 2026 having trained and qualified as a European, UK and Irish Patent Attorney at a top-tier London-based firm.

Since entering the profession in 2014, Rosie’s practice has focused on handling patent applications in the automotive, aerospace, and clean technology sectors. Alongside drafting and prosecuting applications in these sectors, a key aspect of Rosie’s practice has involved advising clients on the impact of third-party IP rights on their commercial position.

The overall management of patent portfolios and client relationships also forms an important part of Rosie’s practice.

Rosie’s technical background is in mechanical and electrical engineering. She holds an integrated master’s degree (MEng) in General Engineering from Durham University. In the final year of her degree, Rosie focused on new and renewable energy engineering. As part of this, she researched the use of power consumption signatures for smart energy management.

Rosie’s working language is English.
